Escaping the physical prison comes at the cost of no warmth explores virtual alter-egos and plays with contrasts between urban and natural, human and animal, soltitude and partnership. In it, the internet is situated as a non-physical landscape, where it can serve as an escapist fantasy realm, away from the fast-paced, industrialized and banale everyday life. In this setting, thousands of people weave thousands of virtual worlds and alter-egos that nevertheless, still carry over their physical need for connection.
